SpartanNash in Eaton Rapids, Michigan is seeking a friendly team member to bag groceries, assist guests with carry-out, and help maintain a clean, stocked store environment. The role supports the store's service standards and contributes to a positive guest experience on a daily basis.

You will follow safety guidelines, PPE protocols, and food safety expectations while working alongside fellow team members in a retail setting. This position is on-site at 1411 S. Main, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• Good oral communication skills
• Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers

Responsabilités

• Bag groceries with proper supplies and techniques.
• Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines and bottle return area.
• Collect, return, clean and organize shopping carts and load groceries into customers' vehicles.
• Know the location of products in the store and assist guests accordingly.
• Handle spoiled or damaged products per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-stocked department.
• Work independently and follow assigned tasks.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations and Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer needs.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to provide highly satisfactory service and assistance to guests; bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles for quests, retrieve carts from parking area, perform bottle tasks and janitorial duties as needed. Ensure that the shift contributes to the financial best interests of the store. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Use proper bagging supplies and proper bagging techniques when handling guests' purchases.
• Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines & bottle return area.
• Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts and take out and load groceries into customers’ vehicles.
• Have familiarity with location of products carried in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked department.
• Know the location of products in the store.
• Able to work independently of others.
• Perform cleaning duties as well as other assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Physical Requirements:

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
