Job summary

Lucid Motors in San Jose, CA is seeking a Service Assistant to support the service team in daily operations. You will handle a changing workload, assist with vehicle drops/picks, and help with basic shop tasks while developing automotive knowledge.

Candidates should be 18+, with basic auto knowledge, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver's License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides a world-class customer experience to all Lucid clients, both internal and external
• Vehicle drives include dropping off or picking up customer vehicles and/or loaners, runs to the Bodyshop, test charging at EA charge stations, among others.
• Arranging Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves per request
• Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) carrier preparation and vehicle hand-over. When needed, help with check in process
• Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to moving and staging vehicles, delivering parts, washing vehicles, and assisting the service department as needed

Service Assistant

The Service Assistant position works with other members of the service team to make sure the day-to-day operation runs smoothly. This position requires the ability to handle a rapidly changing workload and can prioritize accordingly. Compensation Range : The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (hourly) $26 - $35 USD

Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program.
