Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar in Moon Township, PA is seeking Service Assistants to ensure every dish meets our iconic standard. You will support the Team in multiple ways, from menu knowledge to expediting orders and assisting guests.

Responsibilities

• Knows menu proficiently and communicates clearly with guests and team.
• Coordinate checks from Kitchen, garnish per spec, and relay messages to Kitchen.
• Maintain attention to detail in all duties and ensure quality of service.
• Communicate errors or remakes of dishes promptly to the Kitchen.
• Deliver food from Expo area to tables or Bar quickly and efficiently.
• Assist Fans with dishes, refills, and clearing tables.

POSITION SUMMARY

Service Assistants play a key role in ensuring that all food items served to our Fans meets the standards of an exceptional Primanti Bros. experience. They support the Team in multiple ways.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. 1. Possesses proficient knowledge of the menu.
2. 2. Coordinates checks sold from the Kitchen, garnishes food per spec, provides direct & clear communication with Kitchen.
3. 3. Possesses enhanced attention to detail characteristics.
4. 4. Communicates errors or remakes of dishes efficiently.
5. 5. Runs food from the Expo area quickly to each table or the Bar area.
6. 6. Offers assistance to Fans by clearing away dishes & glassware, or offering beverage refills.
7. 7. Busses and cleans tables and booths as needed.
8. 8. Empties trash and spot sweeps in restaurant.
9. 9. Restocks Expo area and prepares supplies for shift change and/or closing shifts.
10. 10. Assists Bartenders with glass and dish restock as needed. Removes and replaces bus tubs.
11. 11. Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout shift.
12. 12. Completes the opening, shift change, and closing checklists found in multi-colored wall units as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
13. 13. Performs other duties as needed per Coach request.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. 1. Ability to write and read the English language.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

1. 1. Stands 100% of the shift.
2. 2. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
3. 3. Able to deliver food, beverages, and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 50lbs.
