Job summary

Primanti Bros in Moon Township, PA is seeking a friendly Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will greet Fans, explain menu options, and ensure timely, accurate service while maintaining a clean, welcoming station.

Responsibilities include taking orders, upselling, handling payments, and upholding safety and sanitation standards. Eligible employees receive competitive wages, meals, and benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Enthusiastic, dependable and courteous.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and friendly service to every Fan from greeting to goodbye.
• Know the menu well and explain options, promotions, and specials to guests.
• Upsell and suggest menu items and inform guests of Happy Hours or events.
• Take accurate orders on paper and enter into POS in the correct sequence.
• Deliver orders promptly or follow up with the service assistant to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Keep the station clean and organized, manage drink levels, and pre-bus as you go.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for age checks and responsible service.
• Process payments following established procedures for all transactions.
• Set up and clear tables; maintain appearance and cleanliness.
• Assist with opening, shift changes, and closing checklists and cleaning tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed by the Coach.

SERVER POSITION SUMMARY

Servers ensure Fans receive an exceptional dining experience through providing service in a timely and proficient manner, while being attentive to the Fans needs.

SERVER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• 1. Provides warm and friendly service to each Fan from the initial greet to the end of their Primanti Bros. experience.
• 2. Possesses proficient knowledge of the menu and able to explain choices to the Fan, informs them of current food & beverage promotions and answer any questions.
• 3. Upsells and suggestive sells menu items, informs Fans of special promotions, Happy Hours specials, or any upcoming Events.
• 4. Writes food and beverage orders accurately on paper and quickly enters into POS system in proper sequence, while timing the ringing of appetizers, kids’ meals, entrees, all per Fans request.
• 5. Delivers the order or follows up after the delivery by the Service Assistant, making sure that the order is excellent in every way.
• 6. Practices pre-bussing as you go and maintains table appearance, removes clutter, checks drink levels.
• 7. Follows alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication, and dealing with potentially intoxicated Fans.
• 8. Collects payment for drinks and/or food served following our established accounting procedures for all transactions.
• 9. Keeps station clean, sets up and takes down station tables appropriately.
• 10. Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout shift.
• 11. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all Players to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
• 12. Completes the opening, shift change, and closing checklists found in multi-colored wall units as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
• 13. Performs other duties as needed per Coach request.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• 1. Ability to write and read the English language.

• 3. Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, able to multitask.
• 4. Possesses basic math skills.
• 5. Completes and passes the RAMP and/or TIPS certification per state requirements, if applicable.

SERVER QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

• Stands 100% of the shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
• Able to deliver food, beverages, and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 50lbs.
