Bergdorf Goodman, a New York luxury retailer, invites applications for a Busser to support our dining program in the luxury Italian café. You will maintain a pristine dining room, clear and reset tables between guests, and assist servers to ensure seamless service.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly and discreetly between guests, maintaining a pristine dining environment
• Assist servers and captains to ensure smooth and efficient service during all meal periods
• Refill water, bread, and other table items as directed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, service stations, and back-of-house areas
• Properly handle and polish china, glassware, and silverware, including Ginori porcelain
• Support opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and sanitation
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with NYC regulations
• Anticipate guest and team needs in a fast-paced, high-end service environment

You Will Be

As the Busser, you will play a vital support role in delivering an exceptional dining experience in our restaurants, Bergdorf Goodman's luxury Italian café. This position ensures the dining room is impeccably maintained, tables are promptly cleared and reset, and service flows seamlessly to uphold the highest standards of hospitality, elegance, and efficiency.

Salary And Other Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $17/hr. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Salary Range $19.61 - $24.51*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
