Your Role

As a Service Assistant / Busser, you will maintain setup in the dining room to ensure guests receive food and beverage service consistent with Neiman Marcus standards. You will work on-site and report to the Restaurant Manager.

What You'll Do

• Focus on table maintenance in the dining room, including clearing and re-setting tables
• Deliver food and beverages to guests as indicated by kitchen tickets
• Maintain the bus station and beverage areas
• Learn table numbers and sections in the dining area
• Assist kitchen and service staff with service needs (e.g., customer requests, restocking, to-go orders, setup)
• Assist waitstaff with service needs, refilling beverages and running food from the kitchen to the dining room
• Set up the dining room with key items, including coffee, iced tea, and ice; restock glasses, flatware, and linens
• Execute pre-shift, post-shift, and daily/weekly duties as assigned by supervisor
• Lift and move objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs)
• Maintain high hygiene standards
• Report to work dressed appropriately, prepared with necessary supplies/equipment

What You Bring

• Experience in food and beverage service following proper table service guidelines
• Knowledge of proper placement of china, glassware, and flatware
• Knowledge of the order of service and table setting standards
• Knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
• Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry 35 pounds
