Your Role

As a Service Assistant/Busser, you will maintain setup in the dining room to ensure guests receive food and beverage service consistent with Neiman Marcus standards. You will work on-site and report to the Restaurant Manager.

What You'll Do

• Focus on table maintenance, including clearing and re-setting tables
• Deliver food and beverages to guests as indicated by kitchen tickets
• Maintain the bus station and beverage areas
• Learn table numbers and sections in the dining area
• Assist kitchen and service staff with service needs (e.g., customer requests, restocking, bagging orders, setting up expediter station)
• Help waitstaff with service tasks, such as refilling beverages and running food
• Set up the dining room with items like coffee, iced tea, and ice
• Restock glasses, flatware, and linens to maintain the dining area
• Perform pre-shift, post-shift, and regular duties as assigned
• Lift and move objects such as tables and chairs
• Maintain high hygiene standards
• Report to work dressed appropriately with necessary supplies and equipment

What You Bring

• Experience in food and beverage service following proper guidelines
• Knowledge of table setting placement and order of service
• Understanding of food preparation and culinary terminology
• Ability to interact graciously and handle multiple duties
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds
