Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Merrillville, Indiana is seeking an energetic hospitality team member to greet guests, answer questions about our food and wines, and support service during busy shifts.

You will assist with carryouts, ensure dining areas are clean and guest-ready, and collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service. The role requires strong communication and a friendly, customer-first attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Energy and positivity with a love for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• A team mindset and willingness to communicate clearly.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and a friendly attitude.
• Be helpful in answering questions about food, wine and facilities.
• Help with food running and carryout orders to support the team.
• Keep the dining room and work areas clean, organized and guest ready.
• Restock and reset tables quickly so guests are welcomed without delay.
