Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery invites energetic individuals to join as Service Assistants, helping keep the dining room running smoothly and delivering memorable guest experiences. You will support seamless service, stock stations, and greet guests with warmth in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a positive attitude, with opportunities for growth and involvement in wine education and events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Energetic, positive attitude with a love for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Team mindset and clear communication.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Show up prepared and start strong using company checklists.
• Keep dining area clean, stocked and guest-ready.
• Restock and reset tables quickly to welcome guests without delay.
• Communicate with servers, food runners and managers to maintain smooth service.
• Assist with food running and carryout orders to support the team.
• Provide genuine hospitality and answer questions about food, wine and facilities.

Job description

At Cooper’s Hawk, our Service Assistants are the behind-the-scenes champions who keep the dining room running smoothly and help create memorable moments for every guest. From keeping the space ready for guests to supporting the team with seamless service, you will play a key role in bringing Uncompromising Hospitality to life.

Compensation Range: $15.00-$17.50/hr.

Pay offered is determined by skills, qualifications, and experience.

How You Will Succeed

• Start every shift with a positive attitude and prepare your station using company checklists
• Stay stocked on tableware dishes and supplies to keep the service flowing
• Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure work areas are prepared for opening, mid-shift, or closing.

Own What You See: Take Responsibility, jump in, and do what needs to be done.

• Keep the dining room and work areas clean organized and guest ready
• Restock and reset tables quickly so guests are welcomed without delay

Stay in Sync: Communicate often, move with your team, and keep service flowing.

• Communicate with servers, food runners and managers to keep service running seamlessly
• Help with food running and carryout orders to support the team whenever needed

Make It Personal: Be genuine, listen well, and tailor each experience.

• Greet guests with warmth and a friendly attitude
• Be helpful in answering questions about food wine and our facilities

What You Will Bring
