Job summary

Cooper's Hawk Winery in Reston, VA is seeking energetic servers to deliver exceptional hospitality while guiding guests through our menu, wines, and Wine Club offerings. You will contribute to a memorable dining experience with warmth, accuracy, and teamwork.

The role requires a minimum of six months as a server, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment. Weekend availability and a professional appearance are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age and six months of server experience.
• Experience in full service or upscale casual dining preferred.
• Comfort speaking about food, wine, and our Wine Club program.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks with speed and care.
• Follow steps of service and use the POS system accurately.
• Know the menu, wine list, and explain Wine Club benefits to guests.
• Maintain proper uniform standards and readiness for opening, mid-shift, or closing.

Compensation Range: $13.00-15.00/hour

Pay offered is determined by skills, qualifications and experience.

How You Will Succeed

• Arrive on time, and in proper uniform standards
• Know the menu, wine list, and steps of service
• Use the POS system and handle payments with accuracy

• Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure work areas are prepared for opening, mid-shift, or closing.

What You Will Bring

• At least 21 years of age and six months of server experience
