Job summary

Auto-Chlor System in Des Moines, IA is hiring a Route Service and Sales Representative to service our commercial dishwasher customers. You will drive a company van, perform preventive maintenance with hand and power tools, restock solutions, and build lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair.

• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Drive a company van to customer locations in the Des Moines metro area.
• Restock solutions, collect payments and upsell products.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

• Pay or shift range: $22 USD to $23 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Auto-Chlor System is hiring a Route Service and Sales Representative for our Des Moines, IA location. We’re looking for people with strong service skills, who are mechanically inclined, and ready to work independently building lasting customer relationships.

• $22-$23/hr with overtime opportunities. Expected yearly earnings between $65,000-$70,000.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing preventive maintenance using various hand and power tools on commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Driving a company van to customer locations in the Des Moines metro area.
• Restocking solutions, collecting payments and suggesting additional products when appropriate.
• Participating in an on-call rotation.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude – comfort with using tools, troubleshooting, and doing basic repairs.
• Customer service & sales mindset – ability to build relationships and recommend additional products.
• Growth & Learning Focus - Willingness to learn and confidence to apply training when working independently managing your own route.
• Ability to lift up 70lbs on your own or with a hand cart.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to complete a background check, MVR, and drug screen.
