Job summary

Culligan Water of Bloomington is seeking a dependable Service & Installation Technician to join our team. You will install, service, and repair residential water treatment equipment, diagnose issues, and educate customers while maintaining accurate service records and a well-organized vehicle.

We value strong mechanical ability, customer-focused communication, and the ability to work independently. Prior plumbing or HVAC experience helps, but a willingness to learn and grow is key.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience with plumbing, equipment installation, maintenance, repair, HVAC, or related trade is preferred but not required.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow through on assigned work.
• Comfort using a tablet or mobile device to document service calls.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and repair residential water treatment equipment, including water softeners, filtration systems, and reverse osmosis systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
• Educate customers on their equipment, answer questions, and recommend solutions when appropriate.
• Complete service records and customer documentation accurately using company technology.
• Maintain an organized service vehicle and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Work closely with dispatch, sales, and other technicians to deliver a positive customer experience.
• Follow company procedures and established safety standards.

What You'll Do
