Job summary

NTW - National Tire Wholesale in Florida is seeking a Service and Delivery Driver to provide fast, safe delivery of tires and related products, and to assist in warehouse organization.

The role is full-time with a safety-first culture and growth opportunities. Applicants should have 1+ year delivery experience and a valid driver’s license with DOT eligibility.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mentality.
• 1+ years of box truck or delivery experience.
• 1+ year with no at-fault accidents; clean MVR.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for applicable vehicles.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested.
• Adhere to DOT hours of service regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of products and procedures.
• Follow predetermined route sequences when delivering tires/equipment.
• Handle COD payments as required by policy.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and work area.
• Provide exceptional customer service aligned with our People Focused Values.
• Wear a clean, laundered NTW-provided uniform.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

Our Service and Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers by delivering product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles. Also assisting with the general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse. This full time Warehouse Delivery Driver position can lead to career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

In this friendly work environment you will be responsible for:

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
• Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
• Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
• Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
• Maintain exception Customer Service based on our People Focused Values
• Come to work in a Clean and Laundered Uniform that is provided by NTW
• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
• Other duties as requested or needed

Qualifications

• Safety 1st Mentality
• 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
• 1+ years of no At-fault accidents,
• clean MVR
• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
