Job summary

NTW - National Tire Wholesale in Orlando, FL is seeking full-time Service and Delivery Drivers to deliver tires and equipment to customers. You will operate company vehicles, load and stage shipments, and maintain safety and DOT compliance.

Requirements include 1+ year of delivery or box truck experience, a clean MVR, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to obtain a DOT certificate. Starting pay is $20.00–$21.50 per hour with a $1000 sign-on bonus and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of delivery or box truck experience.
• Clean MVR with no at-fault accidents.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain DOT certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Valid driver's license for the vehicle class used.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and courteously per policy.
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested.
• Adhere to DOT hours of service requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of products and procedures.
• Adhere to route sequence when delivering tires/equipment.
• Handle COD payments per policy when required.
• Keep vehicle and work area clean, safe and secure.
• Provide responsive customer service aligned with company values.
• Wear provided uniform and maintain appearance.
• Operate MHE as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Service and Delivery Drivers

Our Service and Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers by delivering product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles. Also assisting with the general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse.

This full time Warehouse Delivery Driver position can lead to career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
• Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
• Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
• Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
• Maintain exception Customer Service based on our People Focused Values
• Come to work in a Clean and Laundered Uniform that is provided by NTW
• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
• Other duties as requested or needed

Qualifications

• Safety 1st Mentality
• 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
• 1+ years of no At-fault accidents,
• clean MVR
• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
