West Virginia Department of Education in collaboration with Putnam County Schools seeks an Exceptional Education Aide to support instructional programs for students with special needs.

The Aide will perform tasks assigned by the special education teacher, maintain documentation, assist with classroom routines, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment. Length of Employment: 200 Days. Holds a high school diploma or GED, CPR and first aid, and completed required training.

Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC.
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
• Holds valid CPR and first aid cards.
• Has completed training required for exceptional education aides.

Responsabilités

• The Exceptional Education Aide shall support the instructional program as outlined by the special education teacher.
• Participate in classroom activities and assist with student needs as directed.

Salary Range: Service Annual Salary Schedule Service Salary Schedule .Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.

Job Description: The School Exceptional Education Aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the special education teacher.

Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC Holds "Aide" classification. Possesses strong oral and written communication skills. Holds valid CPR and first aid cards. Has completed training required for exceptional education aides.

Length of Employment: 200 Days

Responsibilities: The Exceptional Education Aide shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
