Responsibilities

• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer descriptions.
• Prepares repair orders and maintains contact with customers regarding their RV’s status.
• Handles customer complaints while maintaining high satisfaction standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Prepares repair orders (RO)
• Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
• Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience: A minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred
• Abilities:
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as required is essential. Hours may include evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • Commitment to superior customer service
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Knowledge or ability to learn company computer systems applications, including Motility Systems 2K, and other software applicable
  • Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals
  • Ability to move RVs of various sizes
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
