Berlin City Kia in Burlington, Vermont, seeks an Internal Service Advisor to coordinate repairs between service, used car, technicians, and parts teams. You will write repair orders, track progress, and help ensure timely vehicle completion while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Prior automotive industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Reconditioning Manager, Used Car Manager, technicians, and porters to identify vehicle repair and reconditioning needs.
• Write and manage internal repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with technicians and the parts department to help ensure the timely completion of repairs.
• Communicate repair timelines, estimates, and status updates to management.
• Monitor work in progress and follow up on delayed or additional repair needs.
• Handle customer and manager inquiries regarding after-sales repair work and appointments.
• Maintain strong communication and follow-up throughout the repair process.
• Support department organization, workflow efficiency, and overall service operations.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Position Overview:

The Internal Service Advisor plays a key role in supporting the reconditioning and service process by coordinating communication between the service department, used vehicle operations, technicians, and parts department.
