Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge service technicians and customers in our Las Vegas area shops. You will translate technician recommendations into clear, actionable language and identify upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

The role centers on delivering an exceptional customer experience while meeting sales and service goals. You’ll greet customers, assess needs through vehicle walks, tests drives, and maintain transparent estimates and timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Ability to work toward sales goals and adapt to technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for service appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs via walk-arounds and test drives.
• Explain technician recommendations in clear language and upsell where appropriate.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates, and maintain transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work completion.
• Follow up with customers about status and satisfaction.

Along with your communication skills and automotive knowledge, you’ll utilize leading-edge technology to uncover selling opportunities that keep drivers safe in their vehicles..Position OverviewWorking in our state of the art service departments, the Service Advisor acts as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers. In this position, you’ll be able to get out from behind the desk and play an active role in the service lane.
