Job summary

Sternberg Automotive Group in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Service Advisor Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service background, solid computer skills, and a proactive approach to scheduling service appointments and writing up light maintenance work orders.

You will respond to customer inquiries by phone, chat, or online leads, provide estimates, and help maintain a smooth service flow across our family-owned dealerships.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Strong computer skills with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and provide estimates/write up light maintenance work orders.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, online scheduling, and live chat.
• Advise maintenance recommendations and confirm appointments.
• Maintain accurate ASR and service records.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and speak with customers, write up light maintenance work orders, provide estimates and ASR to customers.
• Actively listen to customers, answering their questions, and directing them appropriately as they request
• Respond quickly to customer phone calls, internet leads through online scheduling, and live chat inquiries
• Advise maintenance recommendations
• Confirm scheduled and missed appointments

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word (and preferably dual-screen experience)
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Punctual, reliable and eager to improve
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
