Job summary

Audi-Richmond is seeking a friendly, organized Service Advisor to greet customers, schedule appointments, and coordinate service orders.

You will communicate vehicle needs, provide estimates, and ensure accurate repair documentation while maintaining high customer satisfaction as part of a dealership team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive service training preferred.
• Previous experience in a service advisor or similar role in a dealership.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Inform customers waiting that they will be helped soon.
• Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms.
• Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem.
• Obtain customer and vehicle data and test-drive if necessary.
• Advise customers on car care and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain CSI rating comparable to manufacturer standards.
• Explain additional work needed and provide costs and timelines.
• Provide estimates for labor and parts and obtain customer approval.
• Follow up on repair orders throughout the day and update customers.

The successful candidate will greet customers in a timely and friendly manner, schedule appointments, communicate with customers about their vehicle's needs, and ensure that all service orders are accurate and completed efficiently.
