Job Description

Title: Personal Lines Service Advisor

Fully remote for Florida based candidates.

Please note: If this position is posted as either fully remote and/or hybrid, in accordance with company policy, individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity. About the Role:

The Personal Lines Service Advisor handles client service activities including client communication, policy implementation, administrative processes, renewals, policy review, and data management, as well as identifying sales and retention opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned book of business, meeting performance standards for production, quality, and service.
  • Identify coverage extension opportunities during daily service tasks.
  • Engage in the renewal process and non-renewal communication.
  • Process payments, endorsements, and perform policy reviews and coverage counseling.
  • Assist with client claims processes.
  • Maintain transparent communication with supervisors and seek performance coaching when needed.
  • Support team operations and cover for teammates as needed.
  • Deliver excellent, proactive customer service aiming for first call resolution.
  • Continuously seek performance improvements and adopt best practices.
  • Uphold IOA core values with integrity and leadership.
  • Adhere to work schedules and update management systems diligently.
  • Maintain insurance licensure through continuing education.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum insurance license or state-required Personal Lines license (20-44).
  • Preferred 2+ years managing personal lines insurance books.
  • Ability to obtain licensing in all 50 states.
  • Strong decision-making, multitasking, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
