Base pay range

$45,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

The Service Advisor will be responsible for supporting the Service and Branch Manager in performing inventory, parts ordering and restocking, repair orders and customer service.

This position reports to the Branch Manager. This position is on-site at our Newark Branch location.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventative maintenance scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
• Assist during the initial training and evaluation of personnel (mechanics).
• Obtain initial vehicle information and check the vehicle into the workshop and system. Create a work order for needed repairs.
• Give a complete and accurate written cost estimate for parts and labor.
• Work with Technicians on vehicle status and communicate a timeline for repairs to customers.
• Assure effective communication with customers, foreman and technicians.
• Perform inventory, order parts needed for the branch and reconcile cash receipts.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assign associates to specific duties.
• Attend company meetings to exchange product information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by Branch Manager.

Working Conditions

• Shop, office, yards, and vehicle environments, may require lifting of 50 to 75 lbs.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least one year of shop experience (truck or automotive)
• A Valid Driver's License
• Communication: Communicates well, has good listening skills
• Computer Skills: Skilled with computers, takes advantage of new technology, learns new tools quickly, uses technology to enhance job performance
• Customer Service: Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers
• Dependability: Meets deadlines, works independently, accountable, maintains focus, punctual, good attendance record
