Job summary

INFINITI of Lubbock is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the primary contact between customers and the Service Department. You will guide customers through maintenance and repair decisions, document concerns, and relay clear repair explanations and cost estimates.

The role emphasizes accurate repair orders, timely communication, and coordination with technicians and parts staff to ensure efficient vehicle service. A professional appearance and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Consult with customers regarding vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
  • Write accurate repair orders and document customer concerns and vehicle conditions.
  • Communicate recommended maintenance and repairs based on manufacturer guidelines and technician findings.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of repairs, costs, and estimated completion times.
  • Obtain customer authorization before performing additional work.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding repair status and changes to estimates.
  • Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, warranty administrators, and management to ensure efficient vehicle repairs.
  • Review completed repairs with customers and explain work performed.
  • Prepare accurate invoices and collect payment when applicable.
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while meeting dealership performance and sales objectives.
  • Ensure all repair orders and customer records are complete and accurate.
  • Follow dealership policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Help maintain a clean, professional, and organized service department.

Position Summary

The Service Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service throughout the vehicle service and repair process.   • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) knowledge or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience with service sales, upselling, or customer retention.

Physical & Work Environment
