The individual will coordinate maintenance and repair appointments, interact with customers, and ensure superior service. Ideal candidates should have 3+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new and existing maintenance and repair appointments.
  • Produce estimates and repair orders for customers.
  • Communicate with Supervisors, Technicians and Parts Associates.
  • Resolve customer complaints and recommend improvements.
  • Follow up with customers on status of maintenance and repairs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new accounts.
  • Submit activity and results reports to management.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and offering solutions.
  • Suggest product/service/policy improvements based on feedback.

American Fleet Services is seeking a self‑starting, take‑charge individual for our growing Service Center Team. This driven individual will be responsible for coordinating new and existing maintenance and repair appointments daily, interacting with customers, fleet management companies, and the AFS team.

Customer Service Representative Job Duties
  • Set, confirm, and prepare appointments to expedite our customers’ service experience
  • Determine vehicle needs based on customer information, vehicle walk‑around, and a technician’s multi‑point inspection and/or diagnosis
  • Produce estimates and repair orders for customers with full transparency, including cost and time estimates
  • Communicate frequently with supervisors, technicians, and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work
  • Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Gain superior product knowledge to effectively help customers with service maintenance requirements, warranty information, and additional services offered by AFS
  • Maintain existing accounts and establish good relationships with new accounts
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, i.e., daily call reports, weekly work plan, monthly analysis reports, etc.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
Compensation

This is an hourly based opportunity with no limit on earning potential. Our customer base is well established and within a well‑groomed territory.
