Job summary

Fletcher Jones Toyota of Carson is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will greet customers, listen to their service needs, and prepare repair orders while communicating clearly with technicians about recommended work.

This role emphasizes accurate estimates, monitoring progress, and updating customers throughout the day. A valid driver's license and prior Service Advisor experience are preferred; the team offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

The Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring an exemplary experience for the service customer by providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to their description of problems or services needed, preparing repair orders and being proactive, accurate and thorough in communication. The Service Advisors serves as a liaison between customer and technician ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the recommended service and/or repairs are understood by the customer.

• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales by promoting the sale of labor, parts and accessories by providing explanation of estimates and obtaining approval for work that is sold

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor preferred

Pay

: $61,100 - $149,900 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods. Commissions range from $53,700 to $139,100 per year based on performance.
