Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a friendly server for onsite dining at Kohler, Wisconsin. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell beverages and desserts, and help ensure a smooth dining experience.

This casual part-time role operates weekdays and weekends with shifts from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. Must be 18+, able to obtain Learn 2 Serve certificate, and authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of serving or bartending experience.
• Applicant must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain the Learn 2 Serve certificate upon hire.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Inform guests about daily specials and menu changes.
• Upsell by suggesting food and beverages to guests.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter into POS accurately.
• Greet guests and present menus where applicable.
• Process payment transactions.
• Maintain dining area and assist with stocking par stock levels.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Informsguests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
• Suggestfood and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods toupsell.
• Takefood and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point ofsale (POS) system.
• Greetsguests and presents them with the menu when applicable.
• Processpayment transactions.
• Clearand reset table settings and linens, as needed.
• Performingbasic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Communicateto the guest and provide assistance with questions.
• Coordinatewith restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guestsatisfaction.
• Observesguests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
• Promptlyrespond to guest with any additional request.
• Maintainingproper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs,offering
  desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refillingglasses.
• Preparemixed drinks for service to your customers table when applicable (must be18 or over and licensed).
• Understandsand can communicate products and services available at the resort.
• Assistwith stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and sidestation.
• Helpother areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seatingguests.

This is a casual part-time position working weekdays andweekends with shifts ranging from 4:00 pm - 12:00 am.

Skills/Requirements

• 2+years of previous Serving or Bartending experience, preferred
• We arelooking for an applicant who is at least18 years of age and has theability toobtain their Learn 2 Serve Certificate upon hire.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $2.33 - $6.70 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
