Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Dining Room Server to deliver meals to residents and guests with timely service and courteous, first-class customer care.

You will join a compassionate dining team, read and follow directions, and uphold health and safety standards while supporting residents and families. Flexible scheduling includes days/evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner and on a schedule.
• Provide first-class customer service as part of the dining team.
• Work with the dietary team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Whether you are just starting your culinary career or a seasoned server, our Dining Room is the place to be! Our servers are responsible for delivering meals to our residents and guests in a timely manner and on a schedule. A healthy meal along with first-class customer service is what we strive to offer our Residents!

• Obtain Food Handlers Permit (as required by State regulations).
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
