Austin Proper Hotel and Residences is seeking a courteous Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a luxury setting. You will take orders, deliver meals, upsell items, and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest.
Maintain a clean dining area, assist kitchen and bar staff, handle payments accurately, and help train new servers. High school diploma or equivalent required; ServSafe certification is a plus.
Situated in Downtown’s Second Street District, Austin Proper Hotel and Residences is an iconic luxury destination just steps from Lady Bird Lake, ACL Live, and the city’s best shopping. The Peacock Mediterranean Grill is Austin Proper Hotel’s ground floor restaurant and lobby bar, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as in‑room dining. The menu draws inspiration from Mediterranean traditions, offering colorful, loosely plated dishes that are wholesome, vibrant, and made for sharing, all prepared without seed oils for a lighter, cleaner dining experience. In the lobby, the sprawling bar offers a full dining experience across indoor and outdoor lounge areas, while guests can also enjoy views of Shoal Creek from the Peacock’s patio and private dining room balcony.
The Server is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. You will take orders, deliver meals, and ensure a memorable dining experience for all patrons. The Server will also maintain a clean and organized dining area, assist in food and beverage delivery, and work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
