Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. in New York is hiring a Server - Takeout or To Go Specialist. You will ensure guests' needs are met with courtesy and prompt service, handling orders for takeout and curbside pickup while guiding guests through the menu and delivering exceptional hospitality.

No prior experience is required as we provide on-the-job training. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and high sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or be able to obtain one.
• Adhere to proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to reach, bend, balance and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Take, place, package, label and bag orders for takeout and curbside pickup.
• Deliver orders to guests at pickup and assist guests with menu guidance.
• Provide outstanding hospitality and answer guests’ questions while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Server - Takeout or To Go Specialist.

Job Summary:

As a Server - Takeout, you will ensure guests' needs are met courteously and promptly, creating an exceptional takeout or curbside experience. Your duties will include taking, placing, packaging, labeling, bagging, and processing orders, as well as delivering orders to guests for curbside pickup. You'll guide guests through the menu, answer their questions, and provide outstanding hospitality, all while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accommodate guests’ needs in a courteous and timely manner.
• Create a great take out or curbside experience by taking, placing, packaging, labeling, bagging, receiving, and ringing in Guest’s orders.
• Understands the restaurant menu to identify the different menu items for takeout and catering, able to guide guests on choosing menu items, and ready to answer guest’s questions.
• Delivers amazing hospitality experience to guests anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
• Uphold our high sanitation and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience is not required – we will train you!
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• At least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable, or must be able to obtain card.
• Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.
