Job summary

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is seeking a part-time server to provide attentive food and beverage service in a casino dining environment. You will handle orders, serve items at the correct temperatures, and ensure guests have a positive dining experience.

You will report to the Food & Beverage Shift Manager. The role requires cash handling, English proficiency, and prior server experience, with evening and weekend hours. Weekly wage access is available.

Qualifications

• Able to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Provide friendly guest service.
• Speak/read/write English.
• Previous server/wait staff experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and drink items and ensure correct temperature.
• Answer questions about ingredients and allergies.
• Bus tables to keep sections ready for guests.
• Coordinate with wait staff, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Promote casino events and direct guests to casino areas.
• Perform closing tasks and tidy up at end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will serve food and drinks in a thoughtful manner ensuring a positive dining experience. You will report to the Food & Beverage Shift Manager.

Primary Tasks:

• You will serve food and drink items and ensure correct temperature.
• Answer questions posed by patrons including basic ingredients in food to help identify any possible allergy issues should a guest ask.
• Help bus tables to ensure the table is available for the next guest.
• Communicate with wait staff, managers, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
• Promote current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.
• Perform regular closing tasks, including side work, set up, maintaining station cleanliness and end of shift tasks.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

• Calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory.
• Can speak, read, and write English.
• Teamwork skills are required to support the success and enjoyment of the guest.
• Previous Server or Wait staff Experience.
