Ovation Sienna Hills in Washington, UT is hiring a Part-time Server for Senior Living facilities. The role requires weekend and evening shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with pay of $16 per hour.

The server will provide friendly dining service to Assisted Living residents, support a positive dining experience, and assist with room service and daily dining operations. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring dietary needs are met while staying

Qualifications

• Experience in dining service for assisted living or memory care is preferred.
• Must maintain high sanitation and safety standards.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.
• Utah Food Handlers card required.
• Friendly, attentive and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, attractively and courteously.
• Provide attentive service, check on residents during meals and address requests.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
• Clear and reset tables; manage room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Know menu items and assist with dietary needs; communicate with residents and guests.

Job Summary

A Server in a memory care, assisted living and/or independent living facility is responsible for providing excellent dining service to residents, ensuring a positive and enjoyable meal experience. This includes tasks like taking orders, serving food and beverages, setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and providing attentive service to residents' needs.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly and courteously delivering food and beverages to residents, ensuring they are presented attractively.
• Providing attentive and friendly service, checking on residents' needs during meals, and addressing any requests or concerns.
• Assisting with setting up the dining room before meals, including table settings and condiments, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the meal service.
• Clearing tables after meals and resetting them for the next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Being familiar with the menu and able to answer residents' questions about the food and any special dietary needs.
• Interacting with residents and their guests in a professional and courteous manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Following all food safety and hygiene procedures, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborating with other wait staff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient meal service.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
• Other duties assigned appropriate to the position.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety at a level normally acquired through on-the-job training.
• Requires maintaining high standards of personal hygiene while working, including frequent hand washing and securing hair away from the face.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to establish effective relationships with department workers and with other departments.
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• Must possess an active CPR/BLS Certification and always maintain certification during employment.
• Requires current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Be knowledgeable of dietary practices and procedures, as well as related laws, regulations and pertaining to hospital and nursing home operation.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
