Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a friendly and welcoming Server | Ryder Cup Grille (Part Time) to join our team. The resort will feature 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, a luxurious spa, and a vibrant entertainment district. The Ryder Cup Grille offers all-day dining with honest fare and friendly service, perfect for an “after round” experience with Texas charm and comfort.

The server will promptly and courteously serve guests, demonstrating genuine care.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain knowledge of the dining room and menu offerings.
2. Greet guests warmly upon entering the restaurant.
3. Take orders, answer questions, and suggest menu items and specials.
4. Communicate dietary needs and special requests to the culinary team.
5. Record transactions accurately in MICROS system and handle cash responsibly.
6. Check on guests’ satisfaction and ensure quality service.
7. Present checks and process payments efficiently.
8. Keep work areas clean and organized.
9. Assist with station setup, breakdown, and side duties.
10. Ensure tables are properly set and glasses are polished.
11. Follow Omni Moments of Service Standards.
12. Greet guests with a smile and address them respectfully.
13. Reset service areas and maintain cleanliness.
14. Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year serving experience, preferably in high-volume sports or entertainment venues.
• Valid Food Handlers and TABC certifications, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and experience with mixed cocktails.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MICROS or similar POS systems.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Team player with good organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
