Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Bonner, MT, is seeking a server for Ruthie's Steak & Seafood, a premiere fine dining venue. You will welcome guests, take orders, deliver meals, and ensure a first-class dining experience in a fast-paced, team-based setting.

Requirements include 18+, basic math, exceptional interpersonal skills, and wine/service knowledge; fine-dining experience is a plus. Compensation is $20.00–$30.00 per hour plus tips, on-site, full-time.

Qualifications

Job description

The servers in our premiere fine dining restaurant, Ruthie's Steak & Seafood are responsible for welcoming guests and serving meals while providing friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional fine dining experience. This position serves meals, prepares the bill, and performs side work to prepare for the next shift.

Essential Functions

• Greet and inform guests of any specials or recommendations.
• Operate the Micros terminal, collect payments, and make change.
• Take orders and answer questions regarding the menu.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar.
• Monitor the guests dining experience to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station provided.
• Assist other servers during peak periods in delivering food and guest requests.
• Operate POS system to place orders and print checks.
• Maintain clean service areas at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

• 18 years of age.
• Basic knowledge of math skills and dining room and service functions.
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must exhibit wine, beverage, basic food and advanced service knowledge incl. wine service and up-selling.
• Restaurant serving experience required, fine-dining experience a plus.
• Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.

Schedule

$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr ($5.67/Hr + Tips)
