Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort seeks a hospitality team member to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with excellent service. You will handle payments using Micros, assist guests with drink selections, and maintain a clean, efficient bar and dining area.

This role requires 18+ age, basic math, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Full- or part-time shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays with tips and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
• Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Lift up to 40 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and inform them of specials or recommendations.
• Operate Micros terminal, collect payments, and give correct change.
• Take orders and answer questions about the menu.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to tables.
• Monitor dining experience to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests.
• Perform side work at shift start and end as required.
• Assist teammates during peak periods with service and guest requests.
• Maintain clean service areas at all times.
• Check IDs to verify age requirements.
• Serve appetizers, cocktails, wine and beer.
• Assist patrons with wine and liquor selection.
• Clean bar area and equipment.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or guests.
• Observe guests and manage alcohol intake as needed, including transportation arrangements.

• Monitor the guests dining experience to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station provided.
• Assist other team members during peak periods in delivering food and guest requests.
• Maintain clean service areas at all times.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements.
• Serve appetizers, cocktails, wine, and beer to customers.
• Assist patrons with the selection of wine and liquor.
• Clean bar area and equipment.
• Collect money from customers and make accurate change.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
• Observe guests, and if necessary, persuade customers to limit alcohol intake and provide transportation arrangements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Full time or Part time varying with days, evenings, weekends and holidays

$8.05/hr + tips with Paid Time Off upon hire
