Job summary

New Forest Haven is seeking a friendly and professional Server to assist in our dining services. The role involves greeting residents, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a courteous dining experience in a resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining table setups, restocking condiments, and upholding sanitation standards. Prior experience in an assisted living setting is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents warmly and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Takes orders and ensures dietary needs or restrictions are followed.
• Busses and resets tables in the dining room after meals.
• Restocks dining room tables with condiments.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the dining area and workstation.
• Provides feedback from residents to the Director of Food Service regarding meals and food preferences.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The server provides exceptional dining service to residents in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner with a sincerely pleasant and professional demeanor. He or she performs a variety of duties related to meal service, including greeting residents, taking orders, stocking, cleaning, and catering.
