Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly.
Actual Work Location: Grapevine, TX.
Summary
The Server Repair Tech will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts on servers sent for diagnosis and repair.
Daily Responsibilities (90%)
- Inspect, test, and diagnose servers
- Replace parts as needed
- Conduct and analyze server stress tests
- Document all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool
- Collaborate with motherboard repair, motherboard testing, QC, and inspections personnel
- Provide backup for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing
- Maintain parts consumption
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
Team Building & Leadership (10%)
- Maintain and nurture a positive work environment
- Work and collaborate with other teams such as warehouse, shipping, receiving, etc.
- Follow processes for system and parts management

- Know basic server architecture
- Know how to assemble components to make a server functional

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer 1-year experience in a Repair Depot
- Prefer experience in a low-production PC type environment
- Must be able to read and write English
- Experience with simple or repetitive component replacement such as LCD/HDD for multiple commodities
- Experience with models such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, and Acer
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated skill set while working with a Temp Agency

Working Conditions
Employee is required to sit/stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels. The job includes standing in hot summer and cold winter conditions, walking extensive distances, reaching over shoulder heights, bending or stooping below the waist, and repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement. Visual requirements include close, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
