Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Server for The Barclay House of Carrollton to provide gracious dining and hospitality to residents and guests in a senior living setting.

The role requires food service experience, ServSafe if state requires, and flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and events. Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of POS systems are essential for delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve older adults.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• ServSafe Certification if required by state.
• Experience in food service/hospitality is required.
• Bar Card preferred if state allows.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and special events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
• Maintain standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health in dining areas.
• Take accurate orders and work with team to deliver prompt, world-class service.
• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Maintain stock levels of bar, coffee shop, and front-of-house.
• Assist with special events and activities.

We are currently looking for a Server for The Barclay House of Carrollton

Primary Responsibilities of the Server:

• Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guiding guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food and beverages.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas.
• Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to deliver great food in an organized manner as to deliver prompt, world class service
• Sets and reset tables in line with company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of the house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.

• Food server/hospitality experience required .
• Bar Card preferred if applicable to state requirements.
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
• Knowledge of a POS system preferred
• Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends and for pre-planned special events. .
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents
