Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Holland, MI is seeking a friendly server for a part-time, flexible schedule. You will take orders, coordinate with kitchen, and deliver food and beverages to residents and guests with prompt, courteous service.

No prior experience is required, but helpful; training provided. You must communicate in English, have basic computer skills for POS and payroll, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Must have school work permit if applicable.
• No experience is necessary, although previous food service experience is preferred. We will train you.
• Go through food safety training to obtain/hold required licenses/certificates.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills for POS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Part Time/flexible schedule.
• Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner.

• Actively buss and reset tables as well as complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
