Job summary

Discovery Management Group is seeking a Server to join our team at a senior living community. You will take meal and drink orders, serve meals, and ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The role emphasizes hospitality, safety, and maintaining dining areas to high standards.

The position is full-time, with flexible hours to support resident needs and dining operations. Prior experience with seniors is valued, and meal/service training is provided.

• Must enjoy working with seniors.
• Ability to interact with guests, residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Ability to respond promptly to resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Take meal/drink orders and serve meals in a friendly, timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals.
• Maintain knowledge of specials and item descriptions.
• Set up and clean dining areas and side stations.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.

Server Responsibilities

• You will take meal/drink orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner
• Assure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals
• Maintain knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items
• Maintain all side stations and dining areas
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Set-up and clean the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards
