Job summary

Vitality is seeking an Evening Dining Server to join a compassionate team serving residents and visitors in a community setting. You will greet guests, serve meals, and help maintain a warm, respectful dining environment.

This role emphasizes food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, with an emphasis on serving older adults and their families. Evening shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, require reliability and a courteous, attentive approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, visitors, and team members courteously.
• Respect dignity and confidentiality; promote resident rights.
• Serve meals and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Record guest meals and report to Business Office Director.
• Assist in preparations for special meals and parties.
• Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
• Assist with daily dining room operations and cleanup.
• Maintain dining room clean and prepared for next service.
• Adhere to infection control policies; use cleaners safely.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment problems.
• Attend onboarding and training and team meetings.
• Understand and implement emergency plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cook(s).
