Job summary

The Oaks at Algonquin is seeking a part-time Server to assist residents with their dining experience. The successful candidate will help direct residents to their tables, communicate orders via a point of sale system, and complete opening and closing dining room duties. Ideal applicants have a strong customer service presentation, a big smile, and compassion for residents. Must be available on weekends and hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Card. Benefits include 401(k) participation and discounts through Perk Spot.

Schedule

Part Time, must be available on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist in drink selection.
• Communicate specific resident orders, utilizing our state‑of‑the‑art point of sale system.
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community.

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
• If under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable).
• Server must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation.
