About My Neighbor Felix

My Neighbor Felix is a pan-Mexican kitchen inspired by all seven regions of Mexico. We offer authentic recipes, complemented by our mixologist’s handcrafted Mexican cocktails and margaritas, featuring an extensive tequila and mezcal selection. Our ambiance reflects Mexico City influences with traditional crafts and natural touches, creating a lively and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or bar setting preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills to create memorable experiences.
• Knowledge of cocktails and beverages is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure.
• Attention to detail in order processing and payments.
• Team player with effective collaboration skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid alcohol service certification.
• Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, and carrying trays.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Server Responsibilities

• Greet guests, explain menus, and promote specials or promotions.
• Take and note food and beverage orders, including dietary restrictions.
• Input orders into POS and communicate with kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks following proper techniques.
• Check on guests, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Refill beverages, clear and reset tables.
• Process payments accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with cleaning and side work as needed.

Salary: $11.40 plus gratuities.

Host Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and foster positive relationships.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements.
• Communicate effectively with the service team.
• Assist guests and address concerns proactively.

Salary: $11.79 plus gratuities.
