Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring part-time Servers to join our team at Leatherby's Restaurant in Costa Mesa, California. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver exceptional service to ensure a memorable dining experience.

The role emphasizes responsible service of alcohol, accurate order entry, and collaboration with kitchen and bar staff. Evening and weekend shifts apply, with progressive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• Beneficial to have 1+ year experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to guests' needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning

As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$16.90 - $16.90 / hour

What will you do?

More About You

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Beneficial if you have one year's experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as walk, which may include walking up stairs, stand, and bend for long periods of time
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
