Our client, a leader in the automotive retail industry, is seeking a Server Infrastructure Engineerto join their team. As a Server Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the Technology department supporting the hybrid-cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a technical understanding of cloud platforms, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Server Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Pay Range: 120k

What's the Job?

• Work with the team regarding implementation and management of IT infrastructure projects, focusing on server management, virtualization technologies, and storage solutions.
  
• Support the team in managing Azure Stack HCI, including configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
  
• Help manage and optimize Dell infrastructure, including Dell PowerFlex Hardware, Dell Data Domain, dHCI Storage, and APEX Cloud Management.
  
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  
• Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with industry standards.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Technology field or equivalent experience.
    
  • 2+ years of work experience in managing both physical and virtual server environments.
    
  • Proven expertise in Azure Stack HCI, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, and Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
    
  • Experience with SD Networking concepts and technologies.
    
  • Skilled in scripting and automating tasks using PowerShell.
