Job summary

Kahala Nui, Hawaii's premier senior living community in East Honolulu, seeks a Server to provide professional meal service to residents and uphold hospitality and safety standards. You will take orders, use the POS system, serve meals, and help keep the dining room clean and welcoming.

The role involves seating residents, supporting training, and fostering a caring, malama-driven culture. The position offers flexible scheduling and a benefits package including medical, dental, and life

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders.
• Enter orders into the POS system.
• Serve meals and beverages according to standards.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly.
• Deliver meals to resident apartments as needed.
• Assist with greeting and seating residents and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety with a 'clean as you go' approach.
• Respond promptly to resident requests.
