Job summary

Pursuit in Montana (Whitefish) seeks a banquet server to deliver friendly, professional service for events, weddings, and meetings. You will set up spaces, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction, while collaborating with hotel teams for seamless execution.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of serving in a restaurant, hotel, resort, banquet, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Previous banquet or event service experience is an asset.
• Strong guest service and communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during banquets, meetings, weddings, and special events.
• Set up and prepare event spaces according to event specifications and service standards.
• Serve food and beverages for plated, buffet, reception-style, and other banquet functions.
• Monitor guest needs throughout events and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented event and service areas.
• Assist with event setup, teardown, and resetting of banquet spaces.
• Work closely with banquet, culinary, and other hotel teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Support other Food & Beverage operations as needed.
• Be available for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
