Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Emerald Heights offers competitive wages based on experience. Emerald Heights, is a 5 star retirement community located in Redmond, Washington. We are dedicated to providing our residents the best senior living experience in the Puget Sound area and offer a full continuum of care from independent living to assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care. The beautiful restaurants at Emerald Heights, are the highlight of the campus. We are seeking Servers with a positive attitude and love for hospitality. We are pretty flexible with your schedule and have several different shifts to choose from. The Independent Dining Room Server is responsible for table service in the residential dining rooms. We run and operate just like any restaurant, except, you are working with independent residents that LIVE on our campus.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00

3-5 shifts a week

Weekend Availability required

Holidays required/rotating

We Offer

100% paid medical, dental and vision, employer paid life insurance and AD&D for employees working 30+ hours/week (Option to buy-up if desired). In addition, we offer a Flexible Spending account for medical and childcare reimbursements with a $500.00 rollover feature (No Rollover on childcare) AND the option to purchase Long Term disability insurance. Eligibility begins the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 403(B) plan (Eligibility on 403b – 20+ hours per week) – We match 50 cents for every dollar saved up to 10% of your annual salary. Matching begins the first of the quarter following 1 year of employment. Full-time employees are eligible to accrue up to 16 paid time off days, 6 paid holidays and 3 personal days. Pro-rated paid time off is available to part-time employees.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides residents and guest with superior customer service.
  • Takes residents’ and guests’ food orders, places food orders and servers requested items
  • graciously with courtesy.
  • Answers residents’ and guests’ menu questions.
  • Maintains safe and sanitary conditions for dining rooms and staff work stations.
  • Performs cleaning assignments.
  • Sets and clears dining room tables. Maintains work stations.
  • Follows proper food handling techniques and maintain standards of quality for all dining
  • areas.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
  • Courteous, gracious, and tactful. Pleasant, cheerful and service-oriented.
  • Genuine interest in working with older adults.
