Job summary

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking a full-time Server to expertly present food and beverage selections, offer recommendations, and deliver an elevated dining experience. The role requires energy, attentiveness, and the ability to thrive in a fine dining environment.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of serving experience, strong communication, and the stamina to stand for long periods. This position is based in Scottsdale, AZ, with hourly pay and eligibility for Hyatt benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of serving experience in a fine dining setting is required or preferred.
• Clear, refined verbal communication and guest interaction skills are essential.
• Must have or be eligible for AZ Food Handlers License (preferred).

Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge, give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine, and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in elevated conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of two years of serving experience in a fine dining setting.

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Refined verbal communication skills.

Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

Ability to stand for long periods.

Must have open availability afternoon to evening including weekends and holidays.

Valid AZ Food Handlers License preferred.
