Job summary

Life Care Services is seeking a Server for the Clarendale Arcadia community in Phoenix, AZ. The role centers on high-quality dining service in our Culinary Services department, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year of high school completed (minimum).
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification.
• Finger Print Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, and TB testing clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope, hands-on serving in the Culinary Services department.
• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order; take orders and serve items.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service; assist with dish washing and reset tables.
• Serve customers with proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Know diets provided and serve per policy and procedure.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support top-line revenue and occupancy.

Essential Job Duties:

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
• Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
