This is a Full Time position at CRISTA Senior Living, The Courtyard in Shoreline, WA.
Compensation: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. POSITION SUMMARY

The Server is responsible for table service to residents to ensure an excellent dining experience. Set up; clear the dining room, take orders and bring food to the table in a timely and courteous manner. Bring joy and purpose to the lives of our residents through serving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES

• Promptly take food orders from the residents.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and the food to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Ensure service is accurate and quality food is presented.
• Dinner service:

• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Prepare dining area prior to start of dining hours.
• Receive the specials and availability of menu items from the cook.

• Clean and reset the dining room tables by following the table setting standards after each meal.
• Polish silverware and glasses and check and refill sugars and creamers as needed.
• Sweep, vacuum and mop the kitchen and dining room over the weekend.
• Understand and follow proper food handling and infection control techniques in order to maintain the dining room in a sanitary and orderly condition.
• Bus tables and change dirty tablecloths with clean. Wipe down all the chairs in your section with a sanitized cloth.
• Perform assigned nightly cleaning tasks, side jobs or lunch service duties as designated by the Dining Room Supervisor or Food Service Manager.
• Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.
• Perform other related duties assigned.

• Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
• Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
• Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
